Most “Pokémon mystery box” pages still list physical boxes you order and then wait a fortnight for. These seven are different.

How Pokémon pack opening sites work

You deposit, pick a box, and an animation rolls to one item from that box’s drop table. The card you land on is real and physically sitting in a warehouse.

Then you choose. Withdraw it and they mail it to you, or sell it back for site credit and open the next one.

That sell-back button is the whole difference from ordering a sealed box off a shop. You never have to take delivery of a card you did not want.

It is also exactly why the loop is so easy to keep feeding. The budget you set before you start is the only thing that stops it.

One more thing worth understanding: these boxes are not sealed product in the normal sense. A $3 Prismatic Evolutions box on one site and a $3 one on another can hold completely different cards at completely different odds, because each site writes its own table.

Mystery boxes, packs or pack opening — what to call it

Same product, three names.

PackDraw and Pullbox.gg sell packs. Boxed.gg and RillaBox sell boxes. LuxDrop calls them digital packs. And the phrase most people still type into Google is “Pokémon mystery box”.

Nothing mechanical changes between them. You pay, a drop table resolves, you get one card.

The one real split is what sits inside. A pack on PackDraw or Pullbox usually means sealed product, like a factory-sealed booster box or an Evolving Skies six-pack case. A box on Boxed.gg usually means singles, raw or slabbed by PSA, and LuxDrop mixes slabs with sealed product.

And keep mystery pack apps in a separate mental box. Those rip a genuine sealed pack on camera and post you whatever falls out. The pack opening sites here hold stock in a warehouse, and the “pack” is a drop table rather than a physical pack being opened for you. Same feeling, different product, very different odds.

Read the last column first. It runs from one open in a hundred down to one in fourteen thousand. One percent on Boxed.gg is practically generous by the standards of this page.

PackDraw’s $600,000 booster box is the poster on the wall. Behind it in the same 61-item pack sit a complete 1st Edition Base Set to Skyridge run at $400,000 and a Neo Destiny 1st Edition Booster Box at $230,000.

Even the 76-cent Pokemon Booster Packs carry a Base Set 1st Edition Charizard Booster Pack PSA 10 at $25,000. You are not going to pull it. It is genuinely in there.

The rest of PackDraw’s shelf steps up through Charizard Hunt $1.42, Prismatic Evolutions $2.92, Destined Rivals $3.26, Journey Together $3.34, Pokemon 30th Celebration $11, Charizard Chase $119.85, Lunar Eclipse $242.99 and Prismatic Eeveelutions $257.78, with Japanese Pokemon at the top.

LuxDrop’s Poké Pull doubles up. A 2019 Reshiram & Charizard GX SM201 promo PSA 10 sits beside the Burning Shadows card, also $6,000, also 0.01%. One in ten thousand, twice over. Below them sits a Shadowless Base Set 4/102 Charizard PSA 8 at $2,816.35, which is a far more realistic dream.

That same Shadowless Charizard also sits in Poke Power, the $1.16 box, where the floor is a Team Rocket’s Rattata worth four cents. Cheap ticket, long odds. That is the whole trade in one box.

The Mega Evolution set fills LuxDrop’s middle: Chaos Rising $30.57, Perfect Order $33.70, Phantasmal Flames $34.64, Ascended Heroes $38.79, Pitch Black $49.79. Pitch Black tops out with a PSA 6 Ooyama’s Pikachu from the 1998 Japanese Vending Series 3 at $1,950.

RillaBox prints the odds right next to each card. Under the Latias & Latios in Crazy Cards sit a 2022 Lost Origin Trainer Gallery Pikachu PSA 10 at $824.99 and a Pokémon GO Mewtwo V PSA 10 at $644.99. On Cases.gg, Box Break at $180.38 is sealed only.

How Pokémon mystery boxes decide what is inside

Every box is a fixed list of items, each with a published percentage, and the percentages add to 100.

When you open, the site draws a number and maps it onto that list. Nothing about the physical card influences the draw. Whoever built the box set the odds, and that is the end of it.

The figure under the odds is usually RTP, the average share of the box price that comes back as item value over many opens. A 95% RTP box returns $95 of value per $100 spent, on average, spread extremely unevenly. Most of that value is parked in chase cards almost nobody hits. That is not a scandal, it is just how the maths works.

The draw itself is provably fair on all seven. You supply a client seed, the site commits to a hashed server seed before the roll, fresh entropy goes on top, and afterwards you can replay the combination and confirm nothing moved. Build your own box, or haggle with a dealer

Three sites let you skip the shelf. Two let you write the table yourself, one makes you negotiate for a card.

On Cases.gg, from level 5, you create your own case. Name it, pick an image, add the products you want, and set the unbox chance on every single item. The site prices the box from whatever you feed it.

You also set a commission between 0.1% and 3% that pays you each time somebody else opens your box. Design a good one and it quietly earns. Those finished boxes live in Community Cases, next to the site’s own shelf.

PackDraw’s custom pack builder does the same with up to 50 items and your own odds, so you chase one specific set instead of whatever the site felt like bundling.

HypeDrop went the other way. Black Market is a negotiation. You pick a dealer, set an offer amount, then accept or reject items one at a time until the dealer runs out of offers. Reject the wrong one and it is gone for good.

Run this list before you deposit anywhere. It is the difference between a fun afternoon and a long email thread with support.

• The drop table, card by card. Boxed.gg and Pullbox.gg print odds beside every card. A box that hides its table is not worth opening.
• Graded, raw or sealed. RillaBox’s Crazy Cards is PSA slabs. PackDraw’s top packs are sealed booster boxes. Boxed and Pullbox mix all three. They resell completely differently.
• Where they ship. Pullbox.gg is US and Canada only. Boxed.gg ships to 20 countries, from roughly $5 in the US to $25 in most of Europe. This is the number one reason a good pull turns into a refund request.
• How long delivery takes. Boxed averages 14 days and refunds fees past four weeks. Pullbox aims for 30 days, and its reviews say that slips.
• The withdrawal minimum. Crypto only, all seven. LuxDrop $10, PackDraw $15, HypeDrop and Cases.gg $20, RillaBox $25.
• KYC timing. Everyone asks for ID eventually. Do it before you are holding a card worth withdrawing, not after.
• Who actually runs it. Boxed.gg is Loot Labs in Seattle, BITKRAFT-backed. Pullbox is CCG Labs in Delaware. PackDraw is Packdraw Limited in Cyprus plus a Delaware entity. LuxDrop and Cases.gg are Cyprus. A named company beats an anonymous one every time.

Do these sites actually send real Pokémon cards?

Yes. All seven, and the packaging standards are public.

Boxed.gg ships double-sleeved in a top loader inside a bubble mailer, guarantees mint or near-mint, and keeps 50,000 cards ready to go. The complaints are about speed, not authenticity. Pullbox’s 1-star reviews cluster on 7 to 9 week waits and cards arriving lightly played rather than mint. Boxed’s cluster on orders that needed several chasing emails.

Neither is a dealbreaker. Both are worth knowing before you withdraw a $500 card.

Watch live unboxings before you spend anything

Every site here streams what other people are pulling. It is the cheapest research you will ever do.

PackDraw runs a live counter past 73 million packs opened. Boxed.gg has a Fire Pulls feed. Pullbox.gg shows Top Hits with the username and the exact card. RillaBox runs a Live Drops ticker with a dollar value on every item, fed by 1.4 million users and 6.9 million boxes opened. Watch a box you are considering for five minutes and you will see its real distribution instead of its marketing. Mostly small cards. Occasionally something good.
